Three Things I wish I'd known earlier: Leadership

Key Fundamentals of Life: Effective communication, Motivation in the face of "No" and Perseverance to stay the course.

The ability to communicate effectively in the business world of entrepreneurship is a must as well as establishing a good rapport in everyday life. Your communication should never be without clarity to gain first of all access in anything you do. We all love a good presentation in anything we give our attention to. Think about how commercialized society has become. Advertising always communicates a story or image of some sort that captures the attention.

Motivation is determines your true commitment to the task at hand. To consistently stay the course, ask yourself "how far am I willing to go in spite of obstacles or road blocks?" Or do I have the ability to not only motivate self but others with ease? If yes, that alone is one of the most empowering moments in life. Having inspired someone else to do what you do or achieve their dream is one of the greatest assets you can give back to the world. Don’t be discouraged or engage in the negative "self-talk". It kills your dream. If fear seeps in "DO IT AFRAID."

Be persistent. Always have a strategic plan of action without veering off to another task. Having a plan of action is an essential quality found in a great leader. A leader should have a vision with an expected outcome regardless of the obstacles that attempt to distract or take you off course. Plan to Act. Implement action and commit to the task at hand. Find a mentor and or someone who inspires you.

Wisdom is the power to put our time and our knowledge to the proper use.

Thomas J. Watson

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.
